Our Terms
Welcome to our online store ("Store"). These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Store operated by Spectro STEM Solutions LTD (Spectross) ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Store, you ("you" or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Store.
1. Use of the Store: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Store. If you are under 18, you may use the Store only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to use the Store for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Account Registration: To access and use certain features of the Store, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Orders and Payments: By placing an order through the Store, you agree to purchase the products or services selected based on the prices and terms indicated at the time of purchase. All payments must be made in the currency specified on the Store and through the provided payment methods. Prices are subject to change without notice, and any applicable taxes or fees will be added to the final invoice.
4. Prices: The purchase price of goods ordered from Spectross is shown exclusive of GST in this catalogue. Prices herein are “each” prices unless otherwise specified and subject to change without notification. Our pricing policy: If you find a better price elsewhere on an identical product, we will match that price or better it if we can! All goods and services in New Zealand are sold subject to a 15% Goods and Services tax. Ownership of all items will remain the property of SSSL until all amounts owing are paid in full.
5. Payment: Spectross account holders can place orders and have orders charged to their account. If goods are ordered on account, payment must be made in full by the 20th of the month following the date on the invoice. High value non-stock goods ordered specially for a customer may require partial or total pre-payment; such sales are final.
6. Backorders: If any item ordered is out of stock or can only be partly supplied from stock, the customer will only be invoiced for the items supplied.
7. Shipping and Delivery: Charged at cost on all shipments. Shipping and delivery terms will be provided during the checkout process and may vary based on your location and the products ordered. Under normal circumstances, orders placed for delivery in New Zealand will be delivered within 3 days (excludes chemicals). Where at all possible, the customer will be advised if the item is out of stock. Chemicals carry a separate freight charge as per our chemical suppliers’ charges. More than one freight charge per chemical order may apply due to chemical shipping regulations and/or if more than one supplier is required to fulfil the order.
8. Discrepancies & Breakages: Any discrepancy in quantity or specification of goods supplied, or in transit damage must be notified to SSSL within three working days of the date of delivery.
9. Returns and Refunds: Our return and refund policies are outlined on the Store. It is your responsibility to review and understand these policies before making a purchase. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method. All chemical returns must be pre-approved by DESL and returned direct to the chemical supplier via an approved chemical courier; DO NOT RETURN CHEMICALS TO SPECTROSS. Chemicals that have been opened are not returnable.
10. Product Information: We make efforts to provide accurate product information on the Store. However, we do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any product descriptions, images, specifications, or other content.
11. Intellectual Property: All content on the Store, including text, images, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws and is the property of SSSL or its licensors.
12. Prohibited Activities: You agree not to engage in any activities that could harm, disrupt, or interfere with the Store, its users, or our business operations. You are prohibited from using the Store for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
13. Privacy and Data Protection: Your use of the Store is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
14. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Store at our discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.
15. Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Store.
16. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your Jurisdiction].
17. FREE Shipping From time to time, we offer FREE shipping. This offer is valid only for
- Online sales with payment on sale through our website
- Delivery to NZ and non-rural address
- Stocks available in or stores. Not valid for "Intent Orders" or shipment from overseas
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Spectro STEM Solutions Ltd regarding your use of the Store and supersede any prior agreements or understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
